Positive: The upstairs was very spacious for large groups of people and really pretty to spend time in It was nice they had a private access to a beach!
Negative: Very outdated- the bug screens are not properly fitted in the window. If this was during mosquito season, you wouldnt be able to open the windows The bedrooms were very uncomfortable- the pillows are made out of cheap material and the blankets are so thin and small that two people cannot comfortably use them. The mattress in each room was so soft that it dipped right in the centre and caused back issues.The rooms were very hot and depending on the weather, see note above, you may not be able to open the window. If you stay here id highly recommend you bring your own pillows and blankets! I didnt like that the owners knew we were 10 people and only gave us 5 dishwasher tabs....everything was so controlled in what they gave (2 toilet paper rolls, 5 dishwasher tabs and very watered down dish soap) that it was weird. They were very strict about leaving everything spotless but didnt provide you anything to do this? There are no paper towels or cleaning spray to assist. For the price, it would have been nicer if they could provide bath mats in each bathroom// have toilet brushes available // provide shampoo and conditioner as a courtesy. The only thing they gave us where very old cheap kitchen tools and a salt pepper shaker that had neither salt or pepper in them? The bbq had cobwebs on it as did the bench beside it.... Also the owner said Blue Mountain is an easy 5-10min walk, that is not true. It is at least a 20-25min walk, the private beach is beautiful but not logically placed by the chalet. You MUST drive there and its about a 10min drive as is the garbage drop off.
Summary: Beautiful window views but not worth the money for all the items you would need to enjoy the price you paid
