Open and airy cottage with thoughtful attention to detail. Conveniently located in North Truro center, yet set back from the road and down a hill giving it a peaceful feel. Uncluttered and comfortable, with high cathedral ceilings. Lots of light and a beautiful view of the undeveloped hillside from all three rooms. Antique wide boards and beams give a warm ambiance to this thoughtfully designed retreat. Pond Village beach, great for swimming or sunset viewing is a 7 minute walk past a picturesque pond and quaint homes. Coast Guard beach and Head of the Meadow is a short bike ride away on the ocean side. We are 7 miles to Provincetown. There is a comfortable queen bed in a first floor bedroom and a spare mattress up on the loft above the living room, although only suitable for those brave enough to use the steep ladder. Lovely grounds and mature gardens surround the cottage and separate this freestanding dwelling from the antique cape home where we live year-round. There is a full bath inside, an outdoor shower enclosed by a privet hedge, a washer and dryer, wireless internet, and a smart tv for you to access your own streaming apps.
